World Women Workers’ Day: Agent Sonya, a revolutionary and mother

From CPGB-ML

Comrade Vicky presents a moving presentation to celebrate International Women’s Day in 2026. Through the life of Ursula Kuczynsky, who used the code name ‘Sonia’, a German-Jewish communist and a high-ranking Soviet spy, she emphasizes the following important features in Ursula/Sonia’s life.

1. She was a revolutionary who did his best to liberate the working class.

2. She showed great courage and overcame many adversities and dangers to contribute to the liberation of mankind.

3. She lived a full and meaningful life as an executive, communist, party member, sister, daughter, lover, wife, mother, revolutionary, and Soviet spy.

4. She overcame tremendous difficulties to fulfill her role faithfully in all areas of her life. This is an example of practical demonstration of women’s courage, ability, and equality.

5. Her life showed that “no revolutionary movement can succeed without the participation of many women.” More than any other movement, the Soviet Union liberated and encouraged women to participate in equal qualifications in all areas of social and professional life.

6. To be freed from domestic work that women workers have traditionally assumed in society, specific goals such as affordable and high-quality childcare, cleaning, housekeeping, childcare, childcare, education, and socialized provision of affordable and high-quality dining/co-catening restaurants for the working class masses must be achieved.

These measures allow women to practically fulfill their part in the working society and run the society. These policies were fully implemented in the Soviet Union and socialist countries. We need these things even in a capitalist society, and we have to fight for them. Socialist society will provide these things. We honor Ursula Sonya, who received the Lenin Medal for his life’s merit. She made immeasurable contributions to the working class to overthrown fascism and fight against imperialism, and after her retirement, she wrote children’s books in East Germany, spreading socialist morality and revolutionary optimism to the next generation of German workers.

Today we remember and commemorate all female workers and mothers. We will raise the next generation, shoulder the heavy burden of humanity, and commit and sacrifice their hard work. And we say it honestly. Only socialism can bring true liberation to workers in all countries, including Britain. Please join the struggle. Join us!
