Feminist voices against neo-fascism and in defense of democracy from CP of Ecuador

On March 8, as part of the centenary celebrations of the Communist Party of Ecuador, the “First Meeting of Women for Peace” reaffirmed the leading role of women workers in the fight against the advance of neo-fascism in Ecuador and Latin America.

The day of political debates linked the political struggle with historical memory through the unveiling of paintings donated by the family of comrade Víctor Nieto and the presentation of an oil portrait of the historic militant Alba Calderón de Gil, a work donated by comrade Alba Valarezo to strengthen revolutionary identity and class-based feminist organization.
