On March 8, 2025, Captain Traoré visited the women vegetable farmers of Zongo. He went to encourage these brave women, listened to their grievances, and promised to resolve them within a month. This is the first time since Sankara that these women have been visited by an authority figure of this level. This is the RPP: the Popular and Progressive Revolution proclaimed on April 1, 2024.
President Ibrahim Traoré’s immediate response. All grievances were resolved, and as they say in Africa: It is the man who borrows, but it is the woman who pays. These women produced 12 months out of 12. They did credit to all the women of Burkina Faso, so much so that President Traoré insisted on receiving them at the presidential palace. In front of them, he made a commitment to give priority to the grievances of rural and urban women. From now on, women are the soul of the Popular and Progressive Revolution.

Le 08 mars 2025 , le capitaine Traoré a fait une visite aux productrices de légumes de Zongo . Il est allé encourager ces braves femmes et a recueilli leurs doléances et appris l’engagement de les solutionner en moins d’un mois. C’est la première fois depuis Sankara que ces femmes reçoivent la visite d’une autorité de ce niveau. C’est celà la RPP: la Révolution Populaire et Progressiste proclamée le 1er avril 2024.
La réponse immédiate du président Ibrahim Traoré. Les doléances ont toutes été résolues et comme on le dit en Afrique : C’est l’homme qui emprunte mais c’est la femme qui paye. Ces femmes ont produit 12 mois sur 12 mois. Elles ont fait honneur à toutes les femmes du Burkina Faso si bien que le président Traoré a tenu à les recevoir au palais présidentiel. Devant elles il a pris l’engagement de donner priorité aux doléances des femmes rurales comme urbaines. Désormais la femme est l’âme de la Révolution Populaire et Progressiste.
